Location. The Arizona Grand Resort is located in Phoenix, Ariz., on 220 acres. The hotel, formerly Pointe South Mountain, is at the base of South Mountain, a 17,000 acre nature preserve with 60 miles of trails. Arizona State University is five miles from the resort. Arizona Mills Mall is one half mile away. Hotel Features. The Arizona Grand Resort's 38,000 square foot Phantom Horse Athletic Club and Spa offers Procor machines. The Spa contains 15 massage and beauty treatment rooms including the Desert Botanical Aroma wrap and Mommy and Me spa packages. Golf instruction is offered via computerized golf trainers, and the resort features an 18 hole championship golf course. The resort's seasonal Oasis Water Adventure park features Slide Canyon Tower, Oasis Wave Pool, Zuni Active River, Wildcat Springs and Caliente Springs Hot Tub. Six outdoor pools are on site. Children's programs such as Cactus Kids Club keep youngsters entertained. The Oasis Bar & Grill provides poolside service. Dining options include California and Asian influenced cuisine at Latitude 30, American fare is at Phantom Horse Grill and Aunt Chilada's Mexican restaurant. The hotel offers 117,000 square feet of meeting space.

Follow signs onto AZ 153 South toward AZ 143/I 10. Proceed to University Drive and turn slight left. Merge onto AZ 143 South. Merge onto I 10 East toward Tucson. Continue to Baseline Road/Exit 155 toward Guadalupe. Turn right onto West Baseline Road. Turn left onto South Point Parkway West.
