Location. One block from the spa and restaurant district in Palm Cove, Australia, Elysium Apartments is two blocks from the beach. Hotel Features. Elysium Apartments is a tropical style white low rise hotel. Amenities include an outdoor pool and barbecue area. The hotel also offers dry cleaning service, a guest laundry and an experienced staff to advise guests on the variety of tours available in and around Palm Cove. The Palm Cove Tavern, next door to the hotel, offers lunch and dinner indoors or outdoors. A children's play area is part of the outdoor dining area. Pets are not permitted at this hotel.
Guestrooms. The three story hotel contains 20 suites with open plan living areas and contemporary décor and art. The apartment style suites include balconies. Complete kitchens include stovetops, ovens, coffee and tea makers, microwave ovens, refrigerators and dishwashers. Washers and dryers also are included. Additional amenities include high speed Internet access for a fee, CD and DVD players, cable television channels and direct dial phones. Suites also offer hair dryers and irons and ironing boards. Smoking is permitted on balconies only.
Expert Tip. Ocean swimming is possible throughout the year because of the tropical climate. However, large box jellyfish appear between November and May. Swimmers should always swim in protective enclosures, which are floating tubes with nets attached that extend to the ocean floor. The enclosures are clearly marked.
