Location. Located three blocks from the Old Town area of Scottsdale, Ariz., and four blocks from the Scottsdale Fashion Square is the Chaparral Suites Resort. Scottsdale Stadium is two miles away and complimentary airport transportation is available from 6 a.m. 10 p.m. and destinations within one mile of the property. Hotel Features. Complimentary cooked to order breakfasts are featured each morning and evenings provide a complimentary manager's reception. The 4th Floor Grille proffers freshly baked pizzas, grilled fish, pasta and steaks for lunch and dinner, while The Sports Bar hosts a state of the art sound system, two wide screen televisions, 10 smaller sets and Grille menu items. For business needs, a business center, complimentary wireless Internet access and 20,000 square feet of meeting and event space are available. Cascading fountains and tropical landscaping lead to a courtyard with two outdoor pools and a spa tub encircled by lounge chairs. Additionally available are a fitness center, gift shop and arcade.
Guestrooms. Featuring separate living areas, the 311 guest suites are embellished with a mix of wood furnishings, wrought iron lamps, framed prints and decor in hues of sienna, taupe and slate grey. Renovated in 2006, all accommodations offer two vanities, sofas, microwave ovens, refrigerators and circular tables with chairs. Amenities include cable television, complimentary high speed Internet access and video game consoles.
Expert Tip. Paco and Newman, who call the front lobby home, are the names of the property's pet parrots in residence.
